Show Notes
In today’s show, Nina and Roger interview “Duo Transcend”, Mary Wolfe-Nielsen, and Tyce Neilson – a married couple from Salt Lake City, Utah who specializes in duo trapeze and diving. Mary and Tyce have performed on prominent shows like America’s Got Talent and Cirque De Soleil as well as their special performance on Ellen Degeneres Show.
Nina and Roger kick off this special show by asking Mary and Tyce to share how they first met and started dating. While Tyce comes from an entertainment background, Mary is a trained ballet dancer who moved from West Virginia to Utah.
Tyce and Mary started dating immediately, and Tyce shares how their even-mannered personalities and similar temperaments attracted them to one another. Working together has allowed Tyce and Mary to spend most of their time together. Their unspoken and seamless communication allows them to create buttery smooth movements that have wowed viewers across the world. It was this unique ability of theirs to tell a “love story on the trapeze” that got them a coveted role in a Cirque Du Soleil Act.
Tyce and Mary also regale listeners with some interesting details about their now-famous America’s Got Talent appearance. The next segment of the show will be particularly interesting for couples. Nina & Roger and Mary & Tyce share some great insights on how to figure out the root of a problem and amicably resolve a marital tiff.
Other topics discussed in today’s show include self-care tips for professional trapeze artists and a discussion on how to stay busy during the lockdown.
